The 2500 Small Pond Dispenser System uses time release beneficial bacteria to treat any pond up to 2500 gallons in size. Refill kits are available for 500 and 2500 gallon ponds.

2500 Small Pond Dispenser w/ 2500 Gallon Packets

The 2500 system is like a time-release beneficial bacteria capsule for your pond or water garden. Unlike traditional bacteria products in liquid or powder form, the 2500 takes care of dosing and treatment for a full month at a time. Meaning there's no need to remember to add bacteria every few days for it to work well.

It is designed to safely treat any pond from 100 gallons up to 2,500 gallons or use multiple dispensers to treat any pond up to 5,000 gallons.

Beneficial bacteria is safe for fish, plants, pets, and people and will work to clean your pond up and lower nutrients which can help algae grow well.

Use with adequate aeration for the best results.

Instructions for 2500 Gallon Submersible Dispenser

Specifications:

• This is an all-natural system. It may
  require 4-6 weeks to achieve water quality improvement. For best results, do not use the product within 30 days of chemical or algaecide applications (excluding peroxide- based algae treatments)
• It may take 30 – 60 days to see results.
• Under-dosing a pond will provide inconsistent results. The high degree of safety of this product ensures that you cannot over dose an aqua system. Please note: some ponds may require more than the recommended dosage due to heavy nutrient influence, fish overload, inadequate aeration, and/or excessive sunlight.
• This product works best in water temperatures between 45˚ and 110˚ F.
• This product works best in pH ranges from 6.0 to 9.0. Very high or low pH levels can slow the progress of the enzymes.
• For immediate control of algae blooms, or for algae on rocks and waterfall
  areas, consider using a peroxide- based algae treatment that can be used
  in conjunction with Pond Algae Solutions microbes.

Installing your dispenser:

1. For best results, we suggest testing pH levels in the water
   to ensure they are between 6.0 to 9.0. Also be sure to check water
   hardness as it’s helpful to have adequate minerals, such as calcium, in
   the water. Nitrite and nitrates may also be checked. (This nutrient
   analysis may indicate positive results (numbers dropping) before any
   visible signs of improvement are noticed.) Tip: Check the
   pet/aquarium department at most Walmart or pet stores for 5-in-1 test
   strips…these will provide all the information you will need.
2. Unscrew the weighted bottom of the dispenser and remove contents.
3. Open packet containing the black button-like anchor and fishing line. On the
   inside of the basket, place the anchor shank side up through the
   hole. Thread fishing line through the loop on the outside and tie a secure knot.
4. Use one Pond Algae Solutions zip lock bag containing three microbial “tea-bags”. Remove all three “tea-bags” from zip lock bag and place them inside the dispenser basket. Keep the second zip-lock bag in a cool, dry place for future use.
5. Screw the weighted bottom back onto the basket.
6. Place dispenser as close to the middle of the pond as possible. Pond Algae Solutions microbial “tea-bags” will begin dispensing as soon as it comes in contact with water, releasing the microbes into the pond over a 30 day period. Note: Microbial“tea-bags” will not dissolve, but will swell inside
   the container once they become activated by water.
7. Secure end of fishing line to rock or branch near the edge of the pond for easy
   retrieval.
8. Replace all three microbial “tea-bags” every 30 days, making sure to test the
   water with test strips at 30 days and 60 days after deployment.

Refill kits are sold separately. The refill kits includes 2 zip lock bags each
containing 3 microbial “tea-bags” for a 60-day supply. These are available in 800 gallon (item#52352) or 2500 gallons (item# 52451) treatments.
